It's the news all you UK fans have been waiting for! We can now announce ten dates across England, Scotland and Wales for the Ending On A High Note tour, happening between November 15 and 27, 2010. Tickets for all ten dates go on sale Friday, February 26 at 9 am GMT through Gigs & Tours, or by telephone at 0871 2200 260. Visit the Tour page for a full list of the new dates.

These are all the UK dates we have confirmed. Any future tour announcements will be made via the mailing list, so make sure your newsletter subscription is up-to-date.

foot of the mountain (deluxe)

A deluxe version of 'foot of the mountain' has been released in Russia on the 8th of February 2010. In addition to the 10 track normal CD version, the deluxe version contains a DVD with music video's (Foot of the mountain, Shadowside and Nothing is keeping you here) + live version's of Foot of the Mountain and Riding the crest.

The same deluxe version was released on December 4 via amazon.de internationally.

Ok, why did I put this out on the blog? First thing that strikes me: Because I think it's interesting. No, that's a lie! God! I feel ashamed now. Especially on behalf of a-ha (who hates the man). But is it any good? No! It's kind of the same as reading 'news of the world'.

I need to think before i write one word more.

By the day way, is anybody reading this blog? Nevermind, I don't care anyway. This is personal: it's between me and A-ha. It's a personal battle between the individual and the group. Between your mama and yourself. Between my love and hate - for the moment hate is the strongest of the two. True love relationship in other words.

And of course, I do care if people are reading or not.

the blog is changing (for better or worse)

This blog or whatever it is will change from now on. I will begin to write more personal stuff. Up until now i have been cutting and pasting, and maybe i will continue doing that a little bit, but i don't think so. The band is breaking up, right? I don't care. What to write about then? I mean to some degree i need to base my writings on some type of a-ha news, right? No! This band and it's music is timeless to me. I can continue to write for eternity.

Have a great day a-ha people. And A-ha for God's sake: keep on playing music together and MAgne cut this 'retiring on top' crap talk, i'm sick of it!

There should be a A-ha B - side cd! Can some please fix it? Please... An idea, let's do it U2 style, a double cd would be nice (a combination of greatest hits and b-sides/unrealeased songs... This band needs to release more stuff. New people come into this world you know... People are growing everyday and there has to be a balance between these facts and the amount of a-ha material being released.

While we're waiting for Godot, let's enjoy the music in the meantime:

new european tour dates

The Ending On A High Note tour is coming to Latvia and Lithuania!

The band will be playing the Arēna Rīga on November 1, and the Siemens Arena in Vilnius on November 2. Tickets for the Lithuania date will be available starting February 19, and for Latvia on February 23.

one more date for nyc

The first two New York dates of the Ending On A High Note tour sold out quickly, so a third date has been added for May 8 at the Nokia Theatre.

Once again, a-ha.com has a limited number of tickets available for this new show in our members-only presale. Tickets are on sale right now, so sign into your account to get some before they go on sale anywhere else.
